The ancient estate Feudo Bauly (with the nearby forest) was possessed by Alagona family in the fourteenth century. Later it was owned by Landolina family and by Trigona Deodato. In 1787 the family of Baron Judica (the noble family of Palazzolo Acreide, it’s possible to admire their family palazzo in the historical centre of the town) acquired the estate and started the renovation.
Until the fifties Feudo Bauly was one of the most ancient, stately and famous estates of Eastern Sicily. It was a small village with the noble family palazzo, houses of local farmers, a small church, warehouses, stables and cowsheds, ecc.
